ABOUT THE AUTHOR

David Bajo was raised on the California-Mexican border, was educated at the University of Michigan and the University of California, Irvine, and currently teaches writing at the University of South Carolina. He has worked as a journalist and translator, and lives with his wife, the novelist Elise Blackwell, and daughter Esme in Columbia, South Carolina.
